Attorney Daniel Kawamoto
Daniel Kawamoto was born and raised on the island of Oahu. He spent 4 years of his childhood living in Seoul, South Korea, before returning to Hawaii in 1992. He is a graduate of Punahou School, and attended the University of California at Berkeley for his undergraduate degree. He received his juris doctorate from The University of San Diego, and is a member of both the Hawaii and California Bar.
Upon returning to Hawaii, Daniel served as the law clerk for the Honorable Karl K. Sakamoto, before joining the Honolulu Department of the Prosecuting Attorney. After leaving the Prosecutor’s Office, Daniel worked for attorney Paul J. Cunney – one of Hawaii’s most experienced DUI and criminal defense attorneys.
Daniel has represented hundreds of clients charged with criminal offenses ranging from traffic infractions to Class A Felonies. His representation has led to countless dismissals and acquittals at trial. He is also skilled at negotiating plea agreements for his clients.
The consummate competitor, Daniel enjoys playing football, tennis, and golf, as well as trivia, poker, and strategy games.
He was real helpful and understanding. It was my first time dealing with a lawyer and he was very patient. I recommend him for anyone.
Mr. Kawamoto is an excellent attorney!!!
Good quality and very professional
It was a very good experience. My case was won. I am very thankful. And I will defenitly be recommending him to someone.
Daniel was very professional, explained things to me so I could understand in a nice way. He reassured my worries and knew what he was doing. I'd definitely used him again if needed!
I would highly recommend this attorney to anyone that gets in trouble with traffic violations and he keeps to his word.
He was great.. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends.. Hopefully I don't have to require his services in the future having been learned my lesson. However, if need be, I'd have him defend me again!
